Norwich City manager Daniel Farke held his pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow’s visit to Stamford Bridge, as the Canaries continue their quest for their first Premier League victory of the season. He has, however, mentioned the Chelsea player he fears.
The Canaries are bottom of the table after six losses in eight league games this season.
Daniel Farke will be looking for a way to cause Chelsea problems tomorrow, and he ruled both Christoph Zimmerman and Todd Cantwell out of the game during his press conference today. He also stated that Billy Gilmour is unavailable due to a conflict with his parent club.
This season, Chelsea has won six of their eight league games. They’ve also conceded a loss and a tie.
So, as reported by Norwich News, Daniel Farke said of tomorrow’s game, “It’s not a season-defining game, but it could be a boost for us.” Away at Chelsea is probably the most difficult task in world football. The odds are stacked against us, but no outcome can ever be guaranteed.”
However, when Werner and Lukaku were unavailable, Farke demonstrated that Kai Havertz is a threat, saying, “I don’t think it’s a positive when good players are out of the game.” I’m hoping Timo and Romelu will be able to return soon. Chelsea always has a top-tier solution on hand, such as Havertz.
From the statement above by the Norwich Coach Farke, it seems he is afraid of Havertz.
